How to get to Girona? Instructions for arriving to Girona.
IbPRIA 2007 will be held at the Auditorium-Conference Centre in Girona, Spain.
The Conference Centre is located on a triangular-shaped site with an area of 10,000 square metres at the western edge of the park of La Devesa, adjoining the Girona Trade Fair Centre.
Girona is a middle-size city (90.000 inhabitants) and one of the most beautiful places in Catalonia. Its geographical situation means that it is often called the “Porta de Catalunya”, the gateway to Catalonia, a way into the Catalonian national culture, gastronomy, and the most popular traditions.
Girona is near to everywhere. Near the natural frontier formed by the Pyrenees, near the Costa Brava, near Barcelona. The Girona-Costa Brava airport has caused a real revolution in the international connections now available. Girona is nearer than ever. 90 kilometres from the French town Perpignan and 100 kilometres from Barcelona. Girona has good train, road and motorway connections.
